Coal-fire emission bill to be introduced (access required)

State lawmakers plan to introduce legislation to cut emissions from coal-fired power plants. The bill is set to be introduced Monday. It would require Xcel Energy to devise a plan to reduce emissions at about half of its coal-fired plants. That could include retrofitting them with pollution controls, closing them or converting them to natural gas ...
