Melissa Blevins is now PR/marketing specialist at University of the Rockies. Blevins has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University and a MBA from University of Findlay.

Allen Cornelius has joined University of the Rockies as a core faculty member in the school of psychology teaching classes in research methodology.

Karl Fronda is now working in IT support at University of the Rockies. She provides technology support to the students and staff on campus in Colorado Springs.

Katie Schubert is now the admissions representative at University of the Rockies.

Nathan Boyd is the new president of Rocky Mountain Connections, a local destination management company. He has 11 years’ experience in the luxury hospitality management business.

Diane Price, president and CEO of Child Nursery Centers, has been appointed by Gov. Bill Ritter to serve on the newly formed Early Childhood Leadership Commission.

The ECLC’s mission is to help children in Colorado become ready for success in school and life.

Vectra Bank president and CEO Bruce Alexander and vice president of corporate banking David Marshall received the Colorado Bankers Association Bankers of Distinction award during the CBA’s Legislative Luncheon March 3.

Brenda Swartz is the new business manager for the Colorado Springs Business Journal. She has more than 20 years’ accounting and business management experience.
