Feds approve Colorado hospital fee (access required)

The federal government has approved Colorado's plan to charge patient fees to hospitals. Gov. Bill Ritter announced yesterday that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services agreed to the state's hospital provider fee, which will expand both Medicaid and the Child Health Plan Plus elgibility, insuring more state residents.
