Regional director of the U.S. Export-Import Bank Joe Ringer will be in Colorado Springs April 12 to talk with banking executives about export lending.
The Colorado Springs International Development Office is coordinating the event. Appointments can be made with director Angela Joslyn.
“If we could have lending opportunities in this region, so exporters don’t have to leave the region (for financing), that would be good for business on both sides,” Joslyn said.
Ex-Im Bank is offering a Working Capital Delegated Authority Lender Training program in Denver, on Friday, April 16.
Colorado community banks that attend can apply for the first level of delegated authority under the Export Working Capital program.
The first level provides a lender with up to $1 million per borrower to do export working capital loans under a master guarantee agreement between Export-Import Bank and the lender.

Joslyn can be reached at 719-575-4314 or email@example.com.
