The Colorado Springs Medical Cannabis Council is hosting a medical cannabis expo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Antlers Hilton.
The event is open to the public. There will be no cannabis or paraphernalia on-site.
“We are opening our arms to the community and allowing residents to come and meet the folks within the medical cannabis industry, ask questions, and voice any concerns,” said spokewoman Jessica Hogan.
She said that the Expo is designed to educate parents, patients, concerned residents and potential entrepreneurs.
“We have about 40 vendors,” she said, “including lawyers, patient advocacy groups, dispensaries, insurance agents, realtors, graphic designers, security services and others.”
General admission is $5. A $25 all-access pass must be purchased to attend six different discussion groups.
The Antlers will provide free parking for the event.
