State Treasurer Cary Kennedy launched the “2010 Great Colorado Payback” campaign today – highlighting $450 million of unclaimed or forgotten property.
The Great Colorado Payback reunites Coloradans with their lost or forgotten assets.
With three months remaining in the fiscal-year, the state has already returned 41 percent more property than last fiscal-year.
Small businesses, corporations, schools, hospitals or individuals – who have lost track of a bank account, stock certificate, rebate check or other similar items – may have unclaimed property and payments that are in the possession of Colorado State Treasurer’s Unclaimed Property office.
