Colorado Springs has three winners among the state’s 2010 Colorado Companies to Watch: TeleMatrix Inc., Neumann Systems Group and Rivada Networks LLC.

Companies to Watch is a national recognition program developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation to honor second-stage companies.  Each year 50 companies throughout the state are identified for the honor.

Winning firms must demonstrate that they are:

  • Growth focused
  • Privately-held, headquartered in Colorado
  • 6 to 99 full-time equivalent employees
  • $750,000 to $50 million in sales or a similar range of working capital

Statewide sponsors include the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the Colorado Springs Regional Economic Development Corp., and other statewide economic development offices as well as a number of corporate sponsors.

A gala event will be held in Denver on June 18 to recognize the winners.

“These companies are high performance, second-stage companies that will ultimately account for most of the economic growth in the state,” the COEDIT said in a statement.
