Dr. Marian Edelbrock has joined University of the Rockies as director of its Behavioral Health Center. Edelbrock most recently served as a clinical psychologist in private practice for the past five years. She has experience in hospital, mental health agency settings and in employee assistance programs in Southern California.

John Tinucci has joined the URS Corp. as a principal mining geotechnical engineer. He has more than 28 years’ experience in geometrics and mining engineering experience. He holds a doctorate degree from the University of California at Berkeley in geomechanics.

Penrose-St Francis nurse Olinda Spitzer was recognized as a 2010 Nightingale Award recipient. The Nightingale Awards for Excellence in Human Caring honors nurses who best exemplify the philosophy and practice of Florence Nightingale, a 19th century nursing who epitomized the art of helping people. Spitzer, a nurse for 39 years, is an Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist and Clinical Educator at Penrose Hospital.

Jones Lang LaSalle Vice President and General Manager Connie O’Murray, has received the first Green Globes Professional Certification in the state of Colorado. Green Globes is an assessment tool developed by the Green Building Initiative for building design, operation and management. The designation recognizes proficiency in energy modeling, life cycle assessment and the Energy Star benchmarking tool.
