At noon on May 26, Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity is dedicating a renovated home to the Ashworth family.
The house at 240 S. Circle Drive was donated last year to Habitat and the renovations began in January 2010.
Organizers have found that it costs 75 percent less to renovate than to build new. As a result, the family is able to purchase the home for less
And who donated the 1,017-square-foot single family home?
Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity executive director Paul Johnson credited only “a generous local family.”
