USAA opened its first Colorado Springs Financial Center this week.

The center is located at 1855 Telstar Drive inside the lobby of USAA’s Colorado Springs Campus. It is open 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

At the new center, members can open checking accounts and purchase insurance policies, while working directly with a limited number of USAA employees.

For more in-depth assistance, members can conduct face-to-face videoconferences with specialized representatives for services such as financial planning, mortgage application and life insurance. ATMS are also located onsite.

USAA provides insurance, banking, investment and retirement products and services to 7.4 million members of the U.S. military and their families.

USAA has about 100,000 members in the Pikes Peak region.

This is USAA’s third financial center.

The first opened in San Antonio in 2009 and another opened in Killeen, Texas, just outside of Ft. Hood Army Base, in March. USAA plans to open additional financial centers in heavily concentrated military areas in the coming months.
