5 Star Bank adds Interquest branch, business services
5 Star Bank is adding a branch on the city’s far north end at Interquest Parkway and New Allegiance Drive.
G.E. Johnson Construction Co. will build 5 Star Bank’s new 4,800-square-foot branch. The building will open by Oct.1 at the Marketplace at Interquest, on a site purchased from Nor’Wood Development.
One of two new facilities scheduled for completion in 2010, 5 Star officials said that the expansion coincides with the company’s broader evolution into community-wide banking.
President and CEO Mike League said the bank is transitioning from a focus on uniformed military families, Department of Defense and other federal and public employee group customers to a new model that includes business banking and mortgage services.
