Metal fabrication, product development and partnered engineering services company NCT Technologies Group has leased a facility at 1908 Aerotech Drive, Suite 110 and began operations in Colorado Springs this month.

The Ohio-based company will initially employ five workers at the Colorado Springs facility with anticipated growth to 18 employees over the next five years. Their workforce will mainly consist of experienced and skilled fabricators in laser, press brake and welders.

The local operation will provide a closer connection with the firm’s diversified customer base and will facilitate logistics necessary to support customers in Mexico and California.

“Colorado Springs was the clear choice for us to expand into the Western U.S. market,” said owner Drew Flora. “We look forward to developing partnerships in the local market.”

Over the past 10 years, NCT has experienced a 15-percent annual growth rate.

Colorado Springs Regional Economic Development Corp, President  Mike Kazmierski said NCT Technologies was representative of the small high growth manufacturing companies that are an important target for the region.

“This is evidence that our strategy is working,” he said.

  1. I’ve already sent this article along to a person I know is seeking a local metal manufacturer. Thanks for the news, and thanks, CSREDC for attracting more businesses to Colorado Springs.
