I hope it doesn't turn into a mega-church...there is one already across the street.

Maybe it could once again be turned into a second downtown for the city...maybe an arts district with the theather being used for live performances. I haven't seen the interior, so I don't know how feasable of an idea that would be at this stage of construction.

It would be very hard to convert the theatre at Colorado Crossing into anything but a theatre due to the construction methods and design. It is a white elephant . The seperation walls between the auditoriums are cast in place , tilt up concrete and the seating is poured in place stadium seating. It would be prohibitively expensive to open up the space for another use .

The Hollywood Theatre is constructed much diffferently and economically. It's curbside appeal is much better than CC's and there is no comparison to the interior finishes... Hollywood wins hands down... In typical Jannie fashion she deveated from the plans and acted as her own interior designer ... same thing can be said about the landscaping... She deveated from the approved plans and put in whatever she felt like wherever she wanted... Drive by and see for yourself... It's a sad joke that she has played on herself and the rest of us who take pride in their craft and work....
