Thomas Gendron and Michael Van Gilder have been appointed to the Mountain States Employers Council Board of Directors.

Carly Grimes has joined MMG Mardiks as account supervisor for the Colorado Tourism Office public relations department.Grimes, a Colorado native , spent the last three and a half years working at the Breckenridge Resort Chamber.

Irina Riley, a leading broker associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Colorado Springs, has earned the Certified Negotiation Expert designation from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute.

Former Colorado Springs banker and current Colorado State Bank Commissioner Steve Strunk has been elected to the National Board of Bank Supervisors.

Mark Cosgrove was recently promoted to Director of Sales and Business Development at Bircham’s office supply. He has been in the office technology business for more than12 years.

The Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation has elected new board members. They include John Kurish, William Griffis, Lynn Gilfillan-Morton, Penny Sayre, Lindsay Fischer, Thomas Higginbotham, Thomas McCarthy, Daniel Tell, Gerald Travers, Mary Wall, Reagan Anderson and Lynne Jones.

Autumn Rives has joined Peak Aviation Center as a flight instructor. She is able to train in single-engine, multi-engine and light-sport aircraft.

Dr. Martin Beggs has joined Penrose-St. Francis Health Services as a cardiothoracic surgeon. He spent the last 12 years in private practice in Sarasota, Florida. He specializes in diseases of the heart and aorta.

Emilia Jones has joined ADD STAFF as an accounting and administrative staffing manager. She has more than 5 years recruiting experience.

Jennifer Malenky joined The Resource Exchange as development director.

Jered Henderson has joined Bircham’s office supply as its managed print services consultant. He has been in the industry for more than 8 years.

Terence E. Doherty of Doherty Law Firm, P.C. has been awarded the 2010 Colorado Springs Small Business Development Center Volunteer of the Year award.

Gary  L.  Bress,  president and chier operating officer of  Aleut  Facilities  Support  Services, will retire effective  Sept. 30 after  10  years  of  service.
