Kathy Curbo is the new human resources director for MAXX Sunglasses in Monument .  She previously worked in the real estate industry in the Colorado Springs area for more than 20 years.

Realtor Alex Yoder has joined Dorman Real Estate Services. He has more than six years of experience in the real estate industry.

Debbie Hesse has been named executive director of the USA Swimming Foundation. She was formerly president and CEO of USA Diving.

Guillermo Rojas is the new director of marketing and business development for USA Swimming. He most recently was director of business development for the U.S. Olympic Committee.

State Sen. Abel Tapia of Pueblo has been named Director of the Colorado Lottery. He was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives in 1999 and to the Colorado Senate in 2003. The Colorado Lottery, which is based in Pueblo, is a division of the Colorado Department of Revenue.

Ginny Brown has joined the Colorado Hospital Association as vice president of legislative and regulatory affairs. Prior to her move, she spent nearly a decade in state government. Most recently, she managed legislative affairs for the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing.

Morgan Beach and Sally Rothstein have joined the 2010 campaign development staff at Pikes Peak United Way. Beach previously worked as a research assistant in juvenile justice reform in California, and Rothstein worked at Memorial Health System. Both will be working with area business and corporations to coordinate in-house campaigns to help underwrite Pikes Peak United Way programs and services.
