Ten new flights that were previously announced by Southwest Airlines launched earlier this week.
The Dallas-based Southwest now flies nonstop twice a day from Denver International Airport to Los Angeles and once a day to Detroit, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Phoenix, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tucson and Washington/Dulles.
With the latest flights added, Southwest now offers 144 nonstops to 42 destinations from DIA and, according to the Denver Business Journal, its service expansion to and from the Mile High City is the fastest in its history.
Southwest has served Denver since 2006.
