Amber Cote, former executive director of Future Self, is the new School Readiness Initiative Specialist for the Pikes Peak United Way. The program seeks to increase child literacy through early learning, health, nutrition and family stability.
Jessie Pocock has joined Pikes Peak United Way as a campaign officer for 2010. She is a graduate of Colorado College with Distinction and is working on her Masters of Public Administration at UCCS.

Craig Alspaugh has joined BKD accounting firm as a business development executive in the firm’s national cost segregation practice. Alspaugh spent several years leading the business development efforts of Denver-area technology and specialty tax firms.
Kristy Milligan is the new executive director of Citizens Project. She was formerly development director and has been with the organization since 2007.
Dr. Stephen Kirkpatrick has been promoted to vice president for publications for the University of the Rockies. He will continue to serve as dean of the School of Organizational Leadership, but will add responsibilities related to the University of the Rockies Press and the Journal of Psychological Issues in Organizational Culture.
Kristina Williams has recently joined Architectural Innovations in Colorado Springs as an intern architect.
Karla Grazier is the new CEO of Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs. She is a longtime board member and past board chair for the organization. She had served as interim CEO since March when Shawn Raintree resigned.
