Chuck Anderson has joined the accounting firm Stockman Kast Ryan + Co. as an audit consultant.

Ed Bates has joined Jan-Pro Cleaning Systems of Southern Colorado’s  commercial team as a senior account executive. He has worked in the telecommunications business for more than 20 years and plans to work with former clients in his new role.

Stephen Elder, Colorado College vice president for advancement, has been elected to the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s Board of Trustees. He was appointed as a trustee-at-large and will serve a three-year term, effective July 2010.

Karla Miller has joined Architectural Innovations in Colorado Springs as office manager.

Zachary Ladwig has joined the culinary team at Garden of the Gods club as a sous chef. Prior to joining Garden of the Gods Club, Ladwig worked as the sous chef at Bouley in New York City.

Lacey Lockhart is the new Spa Manager for Garden of the Gods Club. She will manage the Club’s salon and spa. Prior to joining Garden of the Gods Club, She was spa director at Chavon Salon & Spa in Colorado Springs.

Real Matters, a property information services provider, has appointed Rob Burgess to the company’s Board of Directors. Burgess is the former Chairman and CEO of Macromedia Inc. and a board member of Adobe Systems Inc. Real Matters recently changed its name from Solidifi Inc. to facilitate expansion into cloud-based property information services.

Gov. Bill Ritter announced he has appointed Cheryl L. Dingwell-Keckritz to the state Board of Mortgage Loan Originators. Her term will expire Aug. 10, 2012.

Julie I. Piepho of Fort Collins, Leslie J. Mitchell of Denver, Rosemary Marshall of Denver and Billy Glenn Bartholomew of Arvada were also appointed.

The five-member board is responsible for licensing mortgage loan originators and registering mortgage companies. It also has the authority to enforce state license laws, investigate complaints and discipline licensees.

Mark G. O’Donnell has been promoted to the position of director for Sierra Commercial Real Estate. He joined the firm in 2006.
