Shawna Kemppainen is the new executive director for Inside/Out Youth Services. Kemppainen most recently was development director for TESSA. Prior to joining TESSA, she served as chief development officer for Care & Share Food Bank. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Cronkite School at Arizona State University and worked as a reporter and editor in Colorado Springs prior to transitioning to the nonprofit sector.
Courtney Kline has joined Cherry Creek Mortgage in Colorado Springs. Kline has 18 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

Holly Haynes has joined OfficeScapes’ School Furniture Division as a territory manager. Haynes has worked in the office-furniture industry for more than 25 years, including 15 years as senior account manager for OfficeScapes in Denver.
Samantha Johnston is the new executive director of the Colorado Press Association. Johnston, who is chief of organizational excellence at Memorial Hospital in Craig, will join the CPA on Sept. 13. She succeeds Ed Otte who is retiring after serving as CPA executive director since 1995. Johnston graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in technical journalism. She received an MBA from Regis University in 2007.
Shawn Mills has been promoted to managing partner of ABC Supply Co. Mills joined ABC in 1999 and has been manager of the Colorado Springs branch since 2007. As managing partner, Mills will continue to oversee the local branch.
Bruce Kelly is president of the newly formed commercial subcontracting company AdvantEdge Drywall. Kelly has more than 20 years of experience in commercial subcontracting. His company specializes in drywall and acoustical ceilings.
Sherri Albertson has joined the Women’s Resource Agency as volunteer coordinator. She has more than 20 years of experience years in volunteer management. Albertson most recently worked for Partners in Housing and is active in the Junior League of Colorado Springs.
Lisa R. Ramey, D.O., has joined Peak Vista Community Health Centers. She will be supervising Peak Vista’s new Medical Student Program in partnership with Rocky Vista University. Ramey received her medical degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified in both Florida and Colorado, and her special focus is pediatrics.
Aimee Lyn Phipps, P.A., has joined Peak Vista Community Health Centers. She will provide care at Peak Vista’s Family Health Center at Myron Stratton. Phipps received her master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University in Arkansas. She has experience in OB/GYN, orthopedics, mental health, geriatrics and pediatrics.

Sue Laabs has joined Ent Federal Credit Union and Investment Trust Company as a vice president and senior trust officer. She has 29 years of experience in the industry. Laabs has a bachelor’s degree from State University College of New York at Buffalo and has a certified trust and financial advisor designation.
Kirk Morton is the interim president and CEO of Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs. Morton has served on the Catholic Charities board of directors since September 2007. The board of directors has begun a national search to replace Jason Christensen, who recently resigned as CEO.
