The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments needs volunteers to collect bicycle and pedestrian traffic data on trails and bicycle lanes this month.
The City of Colorado Springs and PPACG have developed a volunteer-based data-collection program to gauge usage of bicycle and pedestrian trails. The information will be used to estimate future demand, as well as identify and prioritize project needs.
Volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts at 12 locations on Saturday, Sept. 11 and Wednesday, Sept. 15.
For more information or to register for a volunteer shift, visit PPACG’s website.
