The contempt-of-course case against a Colorado Springs activist will close today.
There’s no word on how long Denver District Judge Brian Whitney will take to decide whether to find Douglas Bruce guilty of contempt.
Government lawyers say the father of Colorado’s Taxpayers Bill of Rights has been illegally avoiding answering questions about three tax-cutting proposals on ballots this fall.
Bruce has said he has nothing to do with those measures and wasn’t illegally ducking answering questions in a lawsuit over those measures.
