A second Senate debate between Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet and Republican Ken Buck has been set for Friday.

The Gazette newspaper and KOAA-TV are sponsoring the forum in Colorado Springs. Last weekend, Bennet and Buck debated for the first time in Grand Junction.

The candidates sparred over government spending. Bennet says the nation needs to invest more in infrastructure such as roads, while Buck argued that the government is spending too much.

They also disagreed over extending tax cuts scheduled to expire in January. Buck says tax cuts should be extended even for the wealthy, while Bennet said middle-class tax cuts were important, but he wasn’t sold on extending tax breaks for the rich.
