Wyle Information Systems will expand its operational support to the U.S. Air Force Space Command here in Colorado Springs.
The company has in the past provided technical services and space operational support at the Space Innovation and Development Center at Schriever Air Force Base
As one of four contract awardees, Wyle will work on the Air Force Command’s Contract for Space and Missile Capabilities program.
The four teams will compete for future projects within an umbrella $450 million contract scheduled to take effect Oct. 1.
“Our primary role on this contract will be the development of cyber architectures, formal cyber training and cyber protection of our national assets,” said Wyle Group President Tom Anderson.
The company also provides test and evaluation of aircraft, weapon system and networks, as well as engineering services to the aerospace, defense, and nuclear power industries.
