Dr. Toni Green is the new director of the Southern Colorado Breast Care Specialists for Penrose-St. Francis Health Services. The new department is located in the St. Francis Medical Center.
Green received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to general surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She recently completed a multidisciplinary Breast Surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
Dr. Lorraine White is the new director of clinical training for University of the Rockies. She will work with practicum and internship students by finding and monitoring placements. She will also support students who work in the on-campus counseling center. White holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and is a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado.
Gina Thayer is the new academic programs coordinator for University of the Rockies. She will facilitate in-residence sessions for online students, and will provide support for the campus’ weekend students. Thayer’s education includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology Education from Austin State University in Clarksville, Tenn., and a Master’s of Education in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama.
Lisa Ramey is now associated with Peak Vista Community Health Centers and will work at Peak Vista’s Medical Student Program
Aimee Lyn Phipps is now associated with Peak Vista Community Health Centers and will work at the Myron Stratton Home.
Dr. Mazen Haj-Hussein is the new director of the commercial business for DSoft Technology. Previously, he was a senior project manager and director for Enterprise Integration Group at Compassion International. Haj-Hussein will be responsible for leading DSoft Technology’s commercial project business development and delivery, concentrating on Internet technologies to include search engine optimization, social media and content management solutions.
James Peterson and the Peterson Group have joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
John Kurish has been elected president of the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation. He has also been elected to the board of trustees of the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine.
Scott Casey has been named chief operating officer of MedicalVoyce.com. He will direct operations for the Colorado-based website.
Mark O’Donnell Jr. has been promoted to the position of director for Sierra Commercial Real Estate. He has been with the firm since 2006.
James Dodd has been promoted to executive vice president of Conspire!. He joined the business in 2008 as director of business development.
Kirk Morton has been named the interim president and CEO of Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs. He has held a number of executive positions with a number of manufacturing firms and has been on the Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs board of directors since Sept. 2007.
Ellen Fisher has been promoted to the position of senior audit manager for Stockman Kast Ryan+ Co., a locally owned certified public accounting firm serving southern Colorado.
