Progressive insurance to hire 200 in Springs

Progressive car insurance said today it plans to fill 200 new phone sales and service positions in Colorado Springs by the end of January.

The phone representatives will sell policies and answer customer questions. The jobs require a minimum of two years’ post secondary education or two years’ work experience in a customer service environment.

“We’re hiring because we’re growing,” Progressive recruiting supervisor Kay Krienke said in a statement.

Positions four 10-hour days with three days off instead of the typical five-day workweek and come with a full-range of medical benefits.
