Bennet continues outreach to female voters

Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet is promoting his work for female voters as he tries to fend off a challenge from a Republican who opposes abortion rights.

Bennet is meeting with several prominent Democratic women on Tuesday. Bennet is trying to defend his seat against Republican Ken Buck, who opposes abortion, even in cases of rape and incest. Bennet says he plans to propose new efforts to protect women from domestic violence and pay discrimination.
