We have to start some where... When a Country gets to a place where they can't trust their media, the end is in sight... and let me tell you folks we are there!!! Wake up and smell the pathological lying... I have no idea how you turn this monster on its head, but it needs to be done... I listen to NPR every morning and am very disappointed in their decision to fire Williams. Williams is way to left for me, but he gave an honest answer to a real concern, and that I respect him for. I wonder how much of the comments he makes is "scripted" and not his true feelings at all...

Congressman Lamborn: No, it won't.

Lamborn introduced the bill in June and it's not gone anywhere. NPR gets its support from liberal members of Congress (more precisely, those liberal donors who fund Congressional campaigns). There is nothing that conservatives are willing to give up in order to get NPRs backers to pull the plug, so this bill is little more than posturing. What do you say, Mr Lamborn? Willing to give up some local pork to cut 1% of NPR's budget? I didn't think so. Thanks for stopping by.
