Site Selection magazine has ranked Colorado’s business climate 19th among the 50 states.
The ranking surpasses the state’s placement of 20th last year, but the publication only lists the top 25.
Rankings are based on the number of new and expanded business facilities in each state as well a poll of corporate site selectors.
Under sub-categories, Colorado ranked:
North Carolina topped list this year, as it did in 2009.
Following North Carolina are Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia and Ohio in a tie, Indiana, Louisiana and Alabama.
