Springs Airport fares up 11% from 2009

The average fare for a domestic flight from Colorado Springs Airport was $387 in the second quarter of 2010, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
That’s an increase of 10.7 percent over the second quarter of 2009, when the average domestic fare was $350.
Colorado Springs Airport fares were the 17th most expensive nationwide in the second quarter, or 13.5 percent higher than the national average of $341.
