With several races still undecided, Colorado lawmakers are gathering to elect new leaders after following the general election Tuesday.
House Republicans say believe they won back the majority in the House and they plan to go ahead and pick a speaker, majority leader and other top leadership positions on Thursday.
One House race remained tied with each candidate with roughly 50 percent of the vote Wednesday.
Election results won’t become official and ballots won’t be certified until Nov. 25.
