CSHP sleep center receives accreditation

Colorado Springs Health Partners received accreditation of its sleep center from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

The process included reviews by national representatives of completed studies for patients, examining technology, policies, procedures and environmental settings. Sleep studies are conducted for patients with a variety of issues, including sleep apnea and narcolepsy. CSHP has two sleep medicine physicians, Dr. John Newcomer and Dr. T. Drake McDonald.

The sleep center is located at the Union Medical Campus.
