Bill Hodgkins is the new chairman of the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Mike Jorgensen of Red Noland Cadillac is the board’s chair-elect, and Chris Blees of BiggsKofford P.C. has been is board’s secretary and treasurer.

Vikki Biernacki is the new office manager for the Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Center, a nonprofit that helps small business attain government contracts.

Jack Beuse has been appointed as government affairs chairman for the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors. He is also chairman of the Colorado Association of Realtors legislative policy committee. Beuse is currently a commissioner with the El Paso County Housing Authority.

UnitedHealthcare of Colorado has named Katie Goss director of health and wellness strategies for the Rocky Mountain region.

Mental Health America of Colorado named Judith Cara vice president of development and marketing.

Jason Licon is the new Fort Collins Loveland Airport director. He has more than 16 years experience in airport operations and management. He most recently worked for the Kankakee Valley Airport Authority in Illinois where he was airport manager for 10 years.

Ed Harker has been appointed as an exclusive agent for Horace Mann Educator’s Corp. Harker has worked as a sales manager and been a small business owner for 10 years.

Kim Ruotsala has been promoted to vice president of development Food Bank of the Rockies.

Three Clifton Gunderson associates have been recognized for their achievements in accounting.

Ronda Palsulich, has been named the business leader of the year by South Metro Women in Leadership. Palsulich is senior tax manager.

Carrie Bartow has received a 2010 Everyday Heroes and Heroines Award from the Colorado Society of CPAs.

Claire Pearson participated as one of 12 mentors to give advice to business owners during the Colorado’s Technology Association’s Women in Technology Speed Mentoring on September 23.

The Colorado Association of Realtors named Scott Matthias of Re/Max Professionals president-elect and has named Sunny Banka treasurer.

Derek Brown has joined the URS Corp. as a regional director of federal construction management. He brings 14 years of experience in land development, engineering and construction in Colorado.

Jane Sallager, a Colorado Springs Realtor with Real Living Select Properties has been awarded the Certified Residential Specialist Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists.

The American Humane Association named Ellen Taylor director of animal welfare and education.

The Colorado Trust named Phillip Chung assistant director for research, evaluation and strategic learning, and Sabrina D’Agosta as senior communications officer.

Kate Boyle has joined OfficeScapes as a Territory Manager for the Colorado Springs School Division. She has worked in the business furniture industry for 12 years.

Cash Mason has joined AdvantEdge Drywall as a field superintendent. He previously worked with Spacecon Drywall and Opus General Contractors.
