A new survey finds the average price of regular unleaded gasoline in the United States has jumped 4.53 cents in the last two weeks.
The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released Sunday says the price of a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.87.
Camarillo, Calif.-based analyst Trilby Lundberg says the average price for a gallon of mid-grade was $3.01, and premium unleaded was at $3.12.
Denver had the lowest average price among cities surveyed at $2.63 a gallon for regular unleaded. San Francisco was highest among surveyed cities at $3.20.
Diesel was at $3.22, up nearly eight cents.
