Corporate Development Capital has merged with Clifton Gardiner & Company.
Corporate Development is an investment banking group that specializes in the energy industry. Clifton Gardiner is an investment banking and management consulting organization, specializing in media, communications and tech space.
“The combination of our companies will broaden our range of services and target industries which will now include alternative energy and enable an even higher level of service to our clients,” said Chris Mendrop, managing director of CDC.
CDC is a registered broker dealer with the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, or FINRA, and the Securities Investor Protection Corp., or SIPC. The company also provides merger and acquisition and debt and equity advisement to smaller middle-market clients in the Rocky Mountain Region.
Cliff Gardiner, president of Clifton Gardiner, will be managing director of CDC.
The company will remain headquartered in Colorado Springs. Mendrop and Gardiner plan to open a registered branch office in the Denver Metro area in the near future.
