The US Olympic Committee announced today that Colorado Springs will host the 2011 National Coaching Conference.

Coaches, teachers and sports science professionals from around the country will gather at the Antlers Hilton hotel from June 22 – 25 for the event.

“This conference will mark a tipping point by providing the opportunity for all the major stakeholders in amateur sports in the United States to come together to discuss the merits, methods and challenges in improving our national coaching education and athlete development system,” said USOC coaching education manager David McCann. “We are excited to host this year’s conference in Colorado Springs, the hometown of the USOC.”

Additional information and online registration for the event is available here.
