Ben Mollner has joined his father’s dental Practice, Mark Mollner DDS. Ben is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. His father has had a dental practice in Colorado Springs for 25 years.

Brian Pesch has joined Western Centers, Inc. of Aurora as Chief Operating Officer. Western Centers is in the business of acquisition, leasing, and sale of shopping centers along the Front Range.

LABS Inc. has announced that Kevin M. Smith, chief operating officer of the Colorado Institute for Drug, Device and Diagnostic Development, has joined the company’s board of directors. Smith brings a wealth of experience running businesses in the biosciences industries. Smith was a member of the group that developed the original business plan and state grant proposal for the organization.

Jeff Tetrick, chief financial officer for Pinnacol Assurance, has been appointed as a national board member to the San Francisco-based Integrated Benefits Institute. IBI programs, resources and expert networks advance the understanding and the impact of health-related productivity on corporate American’s bottom line.

Jerri Schomaker is the new owner of the local Home Instead Senior Care office, which serves El Paso and Teller counties. The organization helps seniors remain in their homes as they age. Prior to purchasing the local franchise, she worked as a business performance manager at Home Instead Senior Care’s global headquarters in Omaha, Neb.

Air Force Academy physicist Dr. Randy Knize has been selected as a fellow of the American Physical Society.

Ken Lund will be chief legal counsel for Gov.-elect John Hickenlooper. Lund is the managing partner of Holme Roberts & Owen in Denver.

Vladimir Jones has promoted Ryan Johnson to the position of creative director. He has been with the agency for more than two years, serving most recently as an associate creative director working on clients including Xcel Energy, Centura Health, Bristol Brewing and Bestway Disposal.

The Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts has named Dr. Michael Maddox as its interim executive director. He has been a board member.

FutureSelf, a nonprofit organization that offers art workshops, art classes and job training for teenagers, has named Abby Laine Sienkiewicz as its executive director. She previously was with La Foret Conference and Retreat Center
