FREX to remain in service through 2011

Front Range Express bus service between Denver and Colorado Springs will continue through 2011.

City Council approved the funding for FREX this month.

FREX is funded by Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority and state money and  advertising and fare revenue.

About 350 people use the bus system every day.

FREX is operated by the City of Colorado Springs, Transit Services Division/Mountain Metropolitan Transit.
