Aventa Credit Union has hired Toby Hayes as its new marketing manager. Hayes has more than 10 years of marketing and communications experience. Most recently, he directed marketing for a Utah credit union.

Gov. Bill Ritter has appointed Francis Stephen Collins of Parker a district court judge in the 18th Judicial District.The 18th district includes Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln counties. Collins is a shareholder at Ducker, Montgomery, Lewis & Bess PC, where he’s practiced since 2000.

Robert McBride, operator of Metro Taxi, has been named president of the Taxicab, Limousine and Paratransit Association.

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Community Associations Institute, which represents homeowners’ associations, has named Brian Terhark as president elect, Melanie Antonitis as vice president, Ginny Zinth as secretary and Jim Flippen as treasurer.

BBVA Compass bank has named Fred Ruess as executive vice president for its commercial real estate group.

The Colorado Women’s Chamber of commerce has added to its board of directors Lauri Osborne, Monica Coughlin, Renee Halsch, Margot Langstaff, Kelly Kozeliski, Britt Benton, Joan Anderson, Shannon Aguilar, Carolyn Cavichio and Brad Jeanneret.

The 2011 board of directors for Colorado Health Care Communicators includes Jennifer Willis as president, Jacy Conradt as vice president and Elizabeth Whitehead as treasurer.

Mental Health of Colorado has named Jamie Gulick pro bono outreach program manager.

Hogan Lovells LLP has hired Carrie Stanley, Emily Lyons and Lucky Vidmar as associates. Stanley joins the corporate practice. Lyons and Vidmar join the litigation arbitration and employment practice. Vidmar previously was an associate at Greeberg Traurig and Holme Robetts and Owen LLP.

Holland and Hart has hired Sara Kerkhoff Rundell as an associate in the energy and infrastructure group. The firm also named Tyler Davis as an associate.

Alliant National Title Insurance has named Margaret Cook vice president and Colorado counsel.
