Colorado Springs-based CodeBaby has hired a chief operating officer, Matt Filios.
The Internet software company, which creates digital characters for business websites, had been without a COO since Dennis McGuire left in June.
Filios has more than 20 years of experience in senior executive leadership. He was brought in to strengthen sales, marketing and creative-services processes.
Prior to joining CodeBaby, Filios was COO for Golden, Colo.-based Net-Results, a SaaS lead management automation vendor.
“Matt possesses unique strategic leadership skills and a diverse background in operations that will grow CodeBaby into an internationally recognized brand within the Internet software space,” said CEO Patrick Bultema, on the company’s website.
Filios has a bachelor’s in business administration from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.
The company also recently hired a chief financial officer, Robert Gaffney. Locally, the company has 31 employees.
Privately held CodeBaby also has offices in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
