Integral Systems, which has offices in Colorado Springs, received a $13.7 million contract from the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center to continue providing support to consolidate satellite ground operations.
The contract extends the company’s contract to provide hardware and software maintenance and operations support into 2011 and establishes a new option for continuing the program through 2012.
The contract was originally awarded in 2002 and allows a unified command and control capability for the 50th Space Wing at Schriever Air Force Base family of military satellite communications program. The program allows the space wing to efficiently support legacy programs, as well as new and emerging satellite platforms and programs.
The products are operational at Vandenberg Air Force Base as well.
