Sunny Vista Living Center, a senior assisted living facility, will break ground on a new building next week, expanding its beds by 24 beds.
The new building will provide all-private rooms for patients, including those who need around-the-clock care. The rooms will be available to seniors who are able to be more independent as well.
The expansion will be completed in the summer of 2012, and increases capacity for long-term care and short-term rehabilitation from 92 to 116 beds. The campus currently includes a 50-unit section VII HUD independent living unit called The Villa at Sunny Vista. Once the new private facility is open, the current building will be converted into a long-term, Alzheimer’s unit.
