The Air Force Academy Board of Visitors is meeting this weekend to review academics, morale, discipline and other matters.
The visit comes in the wake of news that sexual harassment reports on the Academy are up 64 percent and that a number of cadets were found to be using synthetic cannabis.
The board will meet Friday and Saturday at the academy campus.
The 15-member panel gives semiannual reports on the academy to Congress and the Pentagon.
Daniel B. Ginsberg, the Air Force assistant secretary for manpower and reserve affairs, and Lt. Gen. Richard Y. Newton III, assistant vice chief of staff, are scheduled to attend.
Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Michael C. Gould and other academy commanders will also attend.
