The City of Colorado Springs is accepting applications to fill two at-large vacancies on the City Planning Commission.
The commission is a volunteer-based nine-member body appointed by the City Council to review development applications and proposals. The commission meets on the third Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the Pikes Peak Regional Development Center.
Applicants do not need specific development or city-building credentials, the city is more interested in having a well-rounded board. Kevin Butcher and Tim Stroh will be leaving the commission. The remaining members are Edward Gonzalez, Diann Butlak, Dan Cleveland, Carla Hartsel, Don McGill, Janet Suthers and Mike Hamm.
