Marilyn Bosenbecker has been awarded the Lillian Wald Service Award from the Public Health Nursing Section for her exemplary public health nursing career.

Jack Frank of Monument has been named to Modern Woodmen’s 2010 President’s Club for his achievement in life insurance sales.

Michael J. Basla was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general last week during a ceremony at Peterson Air Force Base. The rank of lieutenant general is the second highest rank attainable in the U.S. military.

Basla is vice commander, Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base.

Irina Riley, a broker associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Colorado Springs, has earned the seniors real estate specialist designation from the National Association of Realtors.

The Catamount Institute appointed Leslie Wirpsa, Ph.D. as the organization’s new development coordinator. She brings a background in transnational environmental advocacy, nonprofit leadership, fund development, journalism and teaching.
