Colorado College has announced that Dr. Jill Tiefenthaler, provost and professor of economics at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, has been named as the college’s new president.

She will begin her job as president on July 1.
President Richard Celeste will retire on June 30, after leading the college for nine years.
