Gov. John Hickenlooper and former Gov. Bill Ritter are among those who will be on hand for the announcement of several broadcasters teaming up with organizers of the Quiznos Pro Challenge international cycling race in Colorado.
Race officials will say Tuesday at a news conference at the state Capitol who their broadcast partners will be. The inaugural Quiznos Pro Challenge international cycling race in August will feature 120 riders crossing 600 miles of Colorado in a mix of mountain, sprint and downtown stages.
Lance Armstrong was instrumental in establishing the new race, which will consist of seven stages through 11 cities. The exact route of the race set for Aug. 22-28 is still being mapped out.
