Don’t make this a political issue. What does energy have to do with Health Care?

We need to diversify our portfolios. Yes, wind blows at certain times, the sun shines during the day,….but, lack of planning is not a solution.

Facts:
We are overly dependent on foreign sources for our energy. Natural gas prices are volatile (Coal prices are becoming unstable as well). China is in line to purchase NG and coal from the U.S., therefore increasing demand and increasing price. China is a technology leader in alternative energy and will soon use this to support their economy by exporting to other countries. Oil supply will not improve.

This is a national security issue. This is a quality of life issue. Shouldn’t we (the United States) be able to support ourselves within our border?

There are many investments cases where renewable energy is paying off better than coal. (wind and solar) This offsets the amt of coal or NG used. The longer we ignore future technology trends, the more we will pay in the future. We have been successful be leading, not complaining.

Although the “green” energy movement may increase the cost of power from fossil fuel and cripple the powerplants in various ways, the fact is that wind generators only work when the wind is blowing and solar only works when the sun shines. At the same time, fossil fuel plants are required to be able to provide power at certain levels, on demand, which means that they must continue to run, to ensure the ability to provide, on short notice, the gap between what the “green” methods are providing and what is required. The unpredictability of the demand and various related factors cannot help but burden a vital industry. The less do-gooding engineering by government, the better for the industry and for consumers!

Dear Mr. Udall,

Would you please butt out of our lives? You, your cousins and all your over taxing, over regulating buffoon associates? Thanks to you, you idiot, for supporting Obamacare my rates and rates of several of my clients went up 50% last year. Are you going to do the same for my energy costs as you did for my health insurance costs?

Udall, I hope your kids curse you one day for helping to destroy their children’s lives. Your grandchildren Udall!
