Chipotle Mexican Grill is under investigation into whether the Colorado-based burrito chain knowingly hired illegal immigrants to work in its restaurants.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., requested the company’s hiring documents.

  1. And if Chipotle would have done a more thorough investigation in the employee’s background…would they be charged in a Civil Rights case? OK, if the restaurant knowingly hired illegals, they should be slammed…after Washington gets slammed for not enforcing the law in Arizona.

    US Constitution – Article 4 Section 4:

The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and SHALL PROTECT THEM AGAINST INVASION; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

“Shall protect them against invasion.” Perhaps if that buffoon in Washington would help Arizona instead of suing them, Chipotle would have fewer illegals to hire.
