Scott Wegner has joined OfficeScapes as an installation lead. He brings several years of furniture installation experience to the job. He most recently worked on the El Paso County Corporate Ridge project.

Terri White has joined OfficeScapes as an Account Manager. She will cover the Government/Military market in Arizona.

John Petrovich and Emily Periard have formed Newera Social Marketing, a social media marketing company. Petrovich previously worked for the Gazette and Periard worked for TESSA. Together, they have more than 15 years of marketing and business development experience.

Maile Foster and Carolyn Maury have opened McAlpin Foster Advisors, a wealth management firm.

Foster, the founder of the firm, is a certified financial planner, and has been a professional money manager and financial planner since 1998.

Len Graybeal has been named vice president of operations for Peak Vista Health Centers. He comes to Peak Vista with more than 10 years of healthcare leadership experience. Before joining Peak Vista, he was was compliance manager for Rotech Healthcare.

Paul Sexton, chief operating officer of AspenPointe, has been appointed to the Social Enterprise Alliance board of directors.

Vanessa Moorman, general sales manager of Lamar Outdoor Advertising, has been named the 2010 Silver Medal Award winner by the American Advertising Federation of Colorado Springs.

Wayne Bland has been named vice president, mortgage manager of Kirkpatrick Bank. In his new role, Bland will develop mortgage lending products for Kirkpatrick Bank in Colorado and Oklahoma.

Dr. Jack Dillon, SET Family Medical Clinics volunteer medical director and board member, received the Leadership Service Award from the Center for Nonprofit Excellence. The award recognizes Dillon’s dedication to providing health care to underserved people in the Pikes Peak region.

Aventa Credit Union has named Sandra Wells as its vice president of lending. In the newly created executive-level position, Wells will oversee all lending programs, including mortgages, auto lending and credit cards. She has been associated with Aventa since 2001.

Ent Federal Credit announced the promotion of Sarah Cleaveland to service center coordinator of Ent’s Bon Shopping Center location. Cleaveland has been with the credit union for more than five years and has held numerous positions in its member service call center.

Springs Hosting, a provider of managed IT services for medium to large businesses, announced that Dennis Ellison has been hired as chief financial officer. Ellison has more than 36 years of experience in the design and implementation of accounting systems for both large and small business entities.

Mark Sutherland has joined Pine Creek Golf Club as director of golf. Sutherland has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of the golf industry.

Roy Clennan, president and CEO of Freedom Financial Services, is a semi-finalist in the Mountain Desert region for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards program celebrates its 25th anniversary this year; regional winners will be named in June.

Peak Vista Community Health Centers and The Resource Exchange, recently added two physicians to the staff at its Developmental Disabilities Health Center at 2502 E. Pikes Peak Ave.

Rick Athey, MD, PhD, comes to the DDHC from AspenPointe and private practice in Colorado Springs. He received his PhD from the University of North Dakota and his medical degree from East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine. Dr. Athey is a Board Certified Diplomate in both Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.

John Kucera, MD, comes to the DDHC having spent almost two decades in private practice in Colorado Springs.  He received his degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver and is board certified in both Family Practice and Holistic Medicine.  Dr. Kucera, current Chair of the El Paso County Medical Society’s Committee for Persons with Developmental Disabilities, has extensive experience in the management of autism and other developmental disabilities.
