Tourism impact listed on local billboards

National Tourism and Travel week starts Saturday, and the Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau is highlighting the industry’s economic impact in the state with a billboard.

The CVB has a live tourism dollar counter at three digital billboard locations in the city. The billboards show the infusion of collars as a direct result of tourism. The counter began in January and is permanently online at
